Please note that while registration is still open, field trip and banquet sign ups are closed and a printed nametag is no longer possible. The conference is November 8-10, with field trips on Monday, Nov. 7. Registration includes the opening symposium, welcome mixer, keynote speaker, concurrent sessions as well as daily food and beverages (light breakfast and lunch, coffee and tea). Select the “Professional Plus” ticket to add to the Access Fund that will provide scholarships to support the cost of attendance for individuals who identify as Native American, First Nations, and Black, Indigenous and People of Color.

Sign ups for the banquet are no longer open. The banquet will occur on the evening of Wednesday, November 9 at the Downtown Vancouver Hilton. Dinner and a presentation by Andony Melathopoulos titled “Take a Walk on the Wildside: The remarkable wild bees of oak prairies” are included.

No, I will not be attending the banquet.

COVID-19 Policy

We request that individuals attending the CPOP conference be fully vaccinated. Per CDC guidance, unvaccinated individuals should avoid indoor spaces that do not offer fresh air from the outdoors and stay at least 6 feet from other people. We do not feel this is feasible at the conference venue. If you are not vaccinated, we request you do not attend this year.

I confirm that at the time of the conference, I will be fully vaccinated against COVID-19. Per the CDC, people are considered fully vaccinated: 2 weeks after their second dose in a 2-dose series, or 2 weeks after a single-dose vaccine.

I understand that if I am experiencing symptoms of COVID-19, I will be expected to get tested for COVID-19 and refrain from attending the conference while waiting for results.

I understand that if I test positive for COVID-19 prior to the conference, in order to attend I need to meet the following, per CDC guidance: complete a 10-day quarantine after symptom onset, be free of fever for at least 24 hours without the use of fever-reducing medication, and show improvement of other symptoms.
